OBJECTIVES
-
Develop in athletes, optimum speed through specific techniques and speed training exercises.

Increase overall strength through body circuits, isometric exercises (e.g. push-ups, dips, lunges, medicine ball throws).

Improve ground speed through a series of power exercises (e.g. depth jumping, vertical jumps, hurdle jumps, anaerobic power circuits).
-
Educate participants on all aspects of speed training (e.g. proper warm up, power, flexibility, speed endurance).
